Tables providing detail on progress towards MPA objectives at the sites that make up the Scottish MPA network.

Annex 5 of the 2024 MPA Report to Parliament contains a series of tables that give an overview of progress towards MPA objectives. The assessments align with our OSPAR reporting obligations and scores (yes, partial, no or unknown) are given to four questions for each MPA. The scoring meanings are found below, and further details on how the scores were reached for each MPA can be found in the downloadable tables below.

Scores	Meanings
Yes	Relevant documents all published (inshore- SiteLink, offshore - JNCC’s Site Information Centres with further site-level documentation also available). Feature layers on National Marine Plan Interactive (NMPi) Required management measures are implemented. All monitoring that is required for site is implemented Protected features are improving in condition - some may have met their conservation objectives.
Partial	Relevant documents still being drafted and or feature layers not all on NMPi Some of the required management measures are implemented or are in the process of being implemented. Some monitoring is being implemented or it is in the process of being implemented. Some protected features are improving in condition or have reached their conservation objectives, others are static, and/or declining in condition; or their condition is unknown.
Unknown	MPA may have some measures implemented, but it is not known if these address identified threats or pressures to the site. Data are not available to make any judgement of degree to which the protected features of the MPA are moving towards their conservation objectives.
No	MPA may have some measures implemented, but it is not known if these address identified threats or pressures to the site. No monitoring is in place for the MPA. Data are not available to make any judgement of degree to which the protected features of the MPA are moving towards their conservation objectives.
