Public register of land holdings

NatureScot owns or leases various properties across Scotland – from offices to land managed as National Nature Reserves.

Our land holdings include around 40 rural properties that are mostly managed as National Nature Reserves. These can contain a range of buildings that are used when managing the land.

We also own or lease some of our offices and other buildings that we use to carry out our work.

You can also view the NatureScot Owned and Leased Landholdings map that shows the location of land that we own or lease.

Management of land assets

Our Rural Land Asset Management Policy Statement sets out our approach to managing our land.
