Come and join Butterfly conservation’s David Hill for a morning of moth identification at Taynish Woods, as we see what moths have been found the night before using a light trap.

  • All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear and please bring food/drinks if you would like to.

    Head for the beautiful little village of Tayvallich north west of Lochgilphead, Argyll.  From the Village Hall car park, follow the signs for Taynish National Nature Reserve.  Once you reach the Reserve Car Park, Taynish Mill is signposted.  Approx walking distance ¼ mile. The pathway to the Mill is all access.
