Taynish Art Trail 2026: 'The Seasons'

Come and enjoy our free self-led Art trail at Taynish National Nature Reserve.

Open all day between 29th June and 2nd October 2026.

The artists have created works celebrating this years theme: 'The Seasons'. Taynish NNR is a magical place to experience the changing of the seasons. The change from winter to spring in an Oak woodland is one of the most impressive spectacles in the world. The way our natural world changes through the year is a beautiful, amazing thing for us to experince. So we thought it only fitting we focus our trail on the seasons as a way to celebrate them.

All NatureScot events are free of charge but a donation is always welcome.

    Closest Postcode is for Tayvallich Village Hall ie: PA31 8PJ.
    Head for the beautiful little village of Tayvallich north west of Lochgilphead, Argyll.  From the Village Hall car park, follow the signs for Taynish National Nature Reserve.  Once you reach the Reserve Car Park, Taynish Mill is signposted.  Approx walking distance ¼ mile. The pathway to the Mill is all access.
