  • Species on the Edge - About the project

We are working in partnership to develop a new programme of work to benefit around 40 of our most vulnerable species.

  • Species on the Edge - Safeguarding Coast and Island Wildlife

Scotland’s coasts and islands are amongst the most biodiverse areas in the UK. However, many species are at risk, with some on the cusp of extinction.

We work with communities, local initiatives and land managers to tackle species recovery work.

Species on the Edge is being developed by NatureScot and Rethink Nature.
