Dell Woods is an ancient woodland within easy reach of Nethy Bridge village. Walk among the tall Scots pines and other native trees for a chance to see the elusive red squirrel and the shy roe deer. This site is also home to the crested tit, which chatters in the trees, and many ground nesting birds.
Gentle trails will take you from Nethy Bridge right to the heart of Dell Woods and beyond. The ancient woodland is part of Abernethy National Nature Reserve – which is itself part of the Cairngorms National Park – and so a far-reaching network of routes is all yours to explore.
Look at our leaflet to discover more about visiting Dell Woods and to see a map of the site and its trails.
