NatureScot Review 126: European beaver and woodland habitats: a review

The current study was commissioned to review the potential impacts upon forestry interests of re-introducing the European beaver Castor fiber to Scotland, including the effects on trees and shrubs, and upon woodland more widely, and to recommend further studies necessary to assess the potential impacts of beaver on forestry in Scotland.
