Learning in local greenspace films

Some of the schools and partners involved in our Learning in Local Greenspace Project created films to document their journey, share their achievements and inspire and support others to learn in local greenspace. 

This Seven Lochs Wetland Park film, hosted on Youtube, highlights some of the benefits experienced by pupils and staff.  A number of useful ‘How to’ films are also available on their channel. 

Learning through Landscapes Scotland films, hosted on their Youtube channel, include How do you get out?; Raising attainment in schools; How to find and access your space; Literacy outdoors; Health and wellbeing through outdoor learning and Outdoor maths. 

South Lanarkshire Council and Clyde and Avon Valley Landscape Partnership created a number of films, hosted on Youtube, highlighting the skills pupils have developed and how their health and wellbeing has improved. 

Jupiter Artland report and film, hosted on their vimeo account shares now teachers' confidence in offering creative activities outdoors increased.

The Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society (The Caley) share how they helped pupils grow and learn in their local greenspace. 

Some schools took part in our Camera trapping competition and created great films about their experience.

At the end of the Learning in Local Greenspace Project we held a short webinar to share some of the successes.
