NatureScot Research Report 1025 - SCM survey of upland notified features on designated sites - Ben Vrackie
Site Condition Monitoring (SCM) is NatureScot's rolling programme of monitoring of the condition of natural features (habitats, species populations and earth science interests) on protected areas in Scotland. This report summarises the field data collected by Ruth Maier and Colin Wells during SCM of the upland assemblage natural feature on Ben Vrackie Site of Special Scientific Interest. The upland assemblage was found to be in favourable condition. Grazing, both by native deer and sheep are considered to be the biggest influence on condition in different parts of the site.
