Information Request – Salary Bands
Your Request
'1. A breakdown of the number of NatureScot employees grouped by salary bands (e.g., £50,000–£55,000, £55,001–£60,000, etc.).
2. The number of NatureScot employees whose annual salary is £50,000 or higher.
3. The number of NatureScot employees whose annual salary is £80,000 or higher.
4. The number of NatureScot employees whose annual salary is £100,000 or higher.'
Our Response
As at 31 March 2025, the number of employees with a salary over £50,000 is shown in the table below, broken down by £5000 salary band increments.

• 7 employees with a salary of £80,000 or higher
• 1 person with a salary of £100,000 or higher, which is our Chief Executive.
