Information Request – Public sector reform reporting 23/24
Thank you for your information request, which we received on 7 June 2024. We have considered your request under the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (‘the EIRs’).
Your Request
I am looking for some assistance with your organisation’s Spend/Transparency data, available on the following weblink: Public Service Reform Reporting.
There appears to be no file available for the month of April 2023 to March 2024. Could you advise when the file will be made available to view online? Would it be possible for you to email me a copy of the April 2023 to March 2024 file please and thank you.
Our Response
The information you requested is not currently ready for release, so will be withheld under EIR exemption Regulation 10(4)(d) - Material in the course of completion, unfinished documents, and incomplete data (Environmental Information Regulations). The expected date for publication on our website is around January 2025.
How We Handled Your Request
We believe you have asked for environmental information as defined in the Environmental Information (Scotland Regulations 2004 (‘the EIRs’), so we are dealing with your request under those regulations. To be able to use the EIRs, we must apply an exemption under section 39(2) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (‘FOISA’). The Scottish Information Commissioner’s guidance recommends that public authorities apply this exemption to environmental information and handle request under the EIRs.
If you would like to find out more about the access to information legislation, there is a guidance booklet available on the Scottish Information Commissioner’s website.
