• I undertake voluntary professional work for the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management and I am a Fellow of this Institute.
• Member of the following: British Ecological Society, Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland, Botanical Society of Scotland, North East Scotland Biodiversity Partnership, North East Scotland Biological Records Centre Advisory Group - member (no financial or other interests, although I have delivered a course for them, for which I was paid), River Restoration Centre, Scottish Freshwater Group, Churchill Fellowship.
