Since being reintroduced to Scotland, over the last few years the Eurasian beaver population is growing and expanding to new areas. So, it’s a good time to learn about these native animals and the benefits and impacts they can have.
The Scottish Beaver Advisory Group has developed this pack of resources to support communities, land managers, businesses and wildlife enthusiasts to learn more about living with beavers.
The information pack provides a set of resources to inform people about beavers, their history, benefits, behaviours and impacts, as well as where to go for advice if you are experiencing negative impacts associated with beavers for the first time.
The aim is to raise awareness and understanding of beavers, their behaviours, benefits and impacts. The materials included in the pack can be used to share information through newsletters and online channels, or to support talks and events in your community about beavers.
