Natural and Cultural Heritage Fund (NCHF)

Due to the demand for the Natural and Cultural Heritage Fund our project support phase for new support meetings and new application requests will end on 1 April. Our submission deadline is 22 April. Support in relation to queries about  the NCHF application form and application guidance remains available to potential project applicants who have already been issued an application pack and assigned a project officer. This technical support is available up to 15 April, 1 week prior to the submission deadline (22 April). Only technical support with submission of applications (e.g. use of Objective Connect etc) can be given during the week prior to the deadline within Monday - Friday business hours 9-5pm.

The Natural and Cultural Heritage Fund supports new opportunities to promote the outstanding scenery, wildlife and culture of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland in ways which support inclusive and sustainable economic growth. It will help to retain jobs and sustain populations and services in rural communities.

The fund is open to applications now - funding opened on 14 January and will close on 22 April 2019.


Natural and Cultural Heritage Fund


Our Natural and Cultural Heritage Fund provides opportunities for investment in the Highlands and Islands to conserve, protect, promote and develop our natural and cultural heritage. The fund supports new opportunities to promote the nature and culture of the more remote rural areas within the region.
