Green Health Week 2026

Green Health Week will take place this year from 18 to 24 May.

Green Health Week will focus on what green health looks like in practice, showcasing examples from the many organisations and partnerships who are working to help bring the health and wellbeing benefits of nature to everyone.

The purpose of Green Health Week is to:

  • Promote the role of connecting people and nature to physical, mental and social health and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Promote the work of the national and local partners that are making more use of Scotland’s outdoors to promote public health and wellbeing.
  • Act as a national ‘mobilisation’ moment for green health.

If you are taking part in Green Health Week and celebrating activity on social media, use #GreenHealthWeek and tag NatureScot and Public Health Scotland so that we can share your activity where possible.
