NatureScot Commissioned Report 707: Site Condition Monitoring for dragonflies (Odonata) at Claish Moss SSSI
Ten species of dragonflies were found breeding and a cast skin of the rare northern emerald (Somatochlora artica) was seen. There was suitable habitat for the azure hawker (Aeshna caerulea), although this species was not recorded. The site was found to be in favourable condition for Odonata.
