Terms of Reference (as set out paper 1-2)
The meeting will be chaired by NatureScot Board member, Heather Reid. She will be responsible for the efficient running of the meetings; for making sure everyone on the stakeholder group is able to make an effective contribution; and (where appropriate) for summarising the main points of agreement and disagreement for NatureScot to consider.
NatureScot staff in the project team will act as Secretariat and prepare papers. Other papers may be tabled by any member of the group, provided they are available for circulation by the Secretariat one week before it meets. All papers will be circulated electronically unless otherwise requested.
Contributions from members of the group at the meetings will be non-attributable to individuals or organisations (“Chatham House” rules).
An unconfirmed report of each meeting will be prepared by NatureScot and circulated to members of the group. The confirmed report, along with any other papers prepared for the meeting, will also be posted on the NatureScot website.
