New Zealand pygmyweed (Crassula helmsii) (NZP) is an invasive, non-native, aquatic plant species. Once introduced, it may colonise water bodies rapidly and dominate the flora, to the detriment of native species. NZP is present in Mochrum Loch, which is part of the interest of the Mochrum Lochs SSSI in Dumfries and Galloway.
