NatureScot Research Report 912 - Conservation management of Greenland white-fronted goose Anser albifrons flavirostris on Islay, Scotland
Greenland white-fronted geese winter in significant numbers on Islay but a decline in the wintering population in recent years requires understanding as a basis for improving conservation management of the population. The report has shown that low survival (compared to other wintering populations) may be the proximate cause of their decline.
