NatureScot Research Report 1087 - Loch a' Mhuilinn SSSI potential extension - dragonfly survey 2016
Loch a’ Mhuilinn Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) lies on the north-west coast of Sutherland, 5 km south of Scourie. The site is of national importance for its mixed deciduous woodland, the exceptional woodland lichen flora and the assemblage of dragonfly species. An extension to this SSSI had been suggested. This report presents the results of a survey of the dragonfly assemblage within the potential extension area in 2016.
