NatureScot Research Report 1081 - Cumulative impact assessment of Scottish east coast offshore windfarm construction on key species of marine mammals using iPCoD
One key consenting concern for offshore windfarm development is the population consequences for marine mammals due to offshore construction activity. To consider this issue, this three month project firstly explored the sensitivity of the interim PCoD model (Ver 4.1) to its key input parameters, and secondly modelled the cumulative impact of anticipated offshore construction on four key species; bottlenose dolphin, grey seal harbour porpoise and minke whale.
