NatureScot Commissioned Report 508: John Muir coast to coast trail: economic benefit study
This study sets out an estimate of the potential economic impact of the proposed John Muir coast to coast long distance route across central Scotland. This report provides an assessment of the overall economic impact that could accrue from the development of the route, as well as disaggregating this down to the individual local authority areas which comprise the route. It also recommends ways of maximising the economic impact of the route through targeting its key user markets.
