Taynish Scything Workshop

Join us at Taynish National Nature Reserve for our free scything workshop weekend, led by scything expert Rob Brodie.

Saturday 23rd July: Introduction to Scything - 9am to 1pm

Sunday 24th July: Improvers session (Peening and scythe maintenance)  - 9am to 1pm

Spaces are limited to 7 people on each day so please book early to save your space.

    Head for the beautiful little village of Tayvallich north west of Lochgilphead, Argyll.  From the Village Hall car park, follow the signs for Taynish National Nature Reserve.  Once you reach the Reserve Car Park, Taynish Mill is signposted.  Approx walking distance ¼ mile. The pathway to the Mill is all access.
