Join SNH geologist Rachel Wignall to discover the interesting geology of St Cyrus NNR and beyond. Have you ever wondered what type of pebble that is?  As we ramble across the pebbles on the beach find out where they came from and how they were formed!

Meet: Visitor Centre, St Cyrus National Nature Reserve, Nether Warburton, St Cyrus.

Booking: essential.  Age 7 plus.  All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

    To reach St Cyrus from Montrose, head 5 miles north on the A92 coastal road. St Cyrus NNR is signposted on the right, immediately before the Northwater Bridge over the River Esk. Follow the single track road for 1.5 miles to the car park and visitor centre. The nearest bus stop is in St Cyrus (1.5 miles) on the Aberdeen - Montrose bus route.
