Site Condition Monitoring (SCM) is NatureScot's rolling programme of monitoring of the condition of natural features (habitats, species populations and earth science interests) on protected areas in Scotland.  This report summarises the field data collected by Alistair Headley during SCM of eight upland natural features on Caenlochan Special Area of Conservation/Site of Special Scientific Interest and Garbh Choire Site of Special Scientific Interest.  Of the features assessed three were in favourable condition and 5 were found to be unfavourable.  Over-grazing and trampling were found to be the most significant reason for the habitats being in unfavourable condition.
