
Scottish Geology Festival and Aberdeenshire Doors Open at St Cyrus NNR
A celebration of everything rocky, pebbly and geological at St Cyrus NNR and beyond. Come meet Scottish Geology Trust volunteers and local geologists to learn about our local rocks and how they were formed.
This is a joint drop in event between Scottish Geology Trust and NatureScot
This event is also part of Aberdeenshire Doors Open.

Time: 10.00-15.00 on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September.
Meeting: The Visitor Centre
All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

To reach St Cyrus from Montrose, head 5 miles north on the A92 coastal road. St Cyrus NNR is signposted on the right, immediately before the Northwater Bridge over the River Esk. Follow the single track road for 1.5 miles to the car park and visitor centre. The nearest bus stop is in St Cyrus (1.5 miles) on the Aberdeen - Montrose bus route.
