The Scottish Biodiversity Strategy Stakeholder Conference and Biodiversity Science Conference are held annually.  Find out when they were most recently held and when the next events are below.

If you want to get involved, check out the following upcoming events:

  • Scottish Bat Workers Conference
This conference, run by the Bat Conservation Trust, takes place in Aberdeen on 17 November 2018 and is open to anyone with an interest in bats.  Attending the conference is a great way to update your bat knowledge, practical skills and to network.  There are workshops for those with a general as well as professional interest and lots of updates on what is currently happening in the bat world. Further information and booking is via http://www.bats.org.uk/pages/sbc.html

  • NESBReC - Camera Trapping for Mammal Recording
Due to the popularity of a similar workshop in March this year, NESBReC is holding another Camera Trapping for Mammal Recording event in Aberdeen on Wednesday 5th December 2018, 12.30-3.30pm.  This is a good opportunity to find out more about how you could be using camera traps to record wildlife and mammals in particular.  The event is free to attend but booking a place is essential - contact glenn.roberts@aberdeenshire.gov.uk to book your place.  Children must be accompanied by an adult and no dogs, please.
