The Scottish Biodiversity Strategy Stakeholder Conference and Biodiversity Science Conference are held annually. Find out when they were most recently held and when the next events are below.

In conjunction with Aberdeenshire Rangers Service, NESBReC is holding a Mosses and Liverworts Identification event at Portlethen Moss on Saturday 27 April 2019, 10:30am-3pm.  This is a good opportunity to look more closely at the identification features of these often overlooked groups of plants.

The event is FREE to attend but booking a place is essential - contact glenn.roberts@aberdeenshire.gov.uk to book your place. 

Note that children must be accompanied by an adult and no dogs, please.

Scottish Biodiversity Strategy Stakeholders' Conference

This event is held annually.  It was most recently held on 6 June 2018 at the Battleby Conference Centre, Perth.

Biodiversity Science Conference

The Biodiversity Science Conference is held every 12-18 months.  It was most recently held on 9 November 2016 at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.  The theme was 'Connecting People and Environment'.  Summaries and presentations from the conference.

The next conference will take place in November 2018 at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
