Fetlar to Haroldswick NCMPA - designation documents

A mosaic of high energy seabed habitats is protected by the Fetlar to Haroldswick Nature Conservation MPA designation.

The strong tides and spectacularly clear waters of this NCMPA create perfect conditions to support a remarkably diverse array of animals and plants.

It also contains more than 200 square kilometres of important black guillemot feeding grounds.
