Loch Creran NCMPA - designation documents

Designated to safeguard beds of flame shells, Loch Creran Nature Conservation MPA complements an existing Special Area of Conservation.

Loch Creran’s inclusion in Scotland’s MPA network will ensure that it remains one of our most fascinating sea lochs.
