NatureScot Research Report 1088 - Vegetation survey of land adjacent to Loch a' Mhuilinn Site of Special Scientific Interest, Sutherland, June 2015

Loch a' Mhuilinn Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) lies on the north-west coast of Sutherland, 5 km south of Scourie. The site is of national importance for its mixed deciduous woodland, the exceptional woodland lichen flora and the assemblage of dragonfly species.  An extension to this SSSI had been suggested. This report presents the results of a vegetation survey within the potential extension area in 2015.
