Scotland’s landscapes and seas – and the nature they support – greatly benefit the people of Scotland and are valued the world over. Much of our economy is rooted in these natural resources and the industries they sustain.
Keeping these natural assets healthy and flourishing is vital to ensure that Scotland remains successful and prosperous. Doing so also allows us all to participate in and engage with nature in ways that enrich our lives.
Our Annual Report and Accounts 2015/16 shows how the work we’ve done this year is helping to increase sustainable growth and create a more successful country.
It covers how we plan our work and measures our performance against our business plan aims and Scottish Government indicators.
