Scotland’s nature and landscapes are some of our most valued assets. They enrich our lives and, managed well, support sustainable economic growth and the nation’s health and well-being.
People value nature both for its own sake and for the benefits they derive from it. Nature and landscapes will be cared for where they’re seen as relevant to everyday concerns and central to decision-making across society.
Our Annual Report and Accounts 2014/15 sets out how the work we’ve done this year contributes to a successful, flourishing Scotland based on healthy natural assets.
It covers our purpose, operating principles and strategic aims, and measures our performance against our business plan aims and Scottish Government indicators. Read our news review of the year and view our annual accounts.
