Kinloch Castle notice of asset transfer request under the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015

An asset transfer request has been made to NatureScot under Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.

The request has been made by the Kinloch Castle Friends Association for the transfer of Kinloch Castle, surrounding policies and the steading/byre.

The Kinloch Castle Friends Association have requested the transfer of Kinloch Castle, surrounding policies and the steading/byre into their ownership in order to create hostel accommodation with 51 beds, a bar and bistro and, later to restore the museum.

Anyone may make representations about this request to NatureScot. Representations must be in writing and include the name and address of the person making it. A copy of the representation will be given to the Kinloch Castle Friends Association.

Representations must be received by 16th October 2019 and should be sent to the Community Asset Transfer Manager at the address above.
