As part of any client/supplier relationship, both parties have duties under Health & Safety (H&S) legislation. Similarly, if a supplier employs sub-contractors to carry out some or all of the work contained within the specification (Statement of Requirements) given for the contract, all parties have H&S responsibilities. The extent of the responsibilities of each party will depend on the individual circumstances of the contract.
