Join fungi-loving ecologists, Robert Macpherson and Carl Farmer, for a walk and forage at Glasdrum National Nature Reserve, Saturday 21 September
Many of our commonest fungi are edible, delicious and expensive to buy in the shops. On this walk you will learn which mushrooms are safe to eat, which local varieties are the tastiest, and how to collect and cook them.
Robert and Carl will start the walk with a check of the previous night's moth catch.
The event is free of charge and everyone is welcome.
Please wear suitable footwear.
Meet at Glasdrum car park. The walk will start at 10:30am.
Booking is preferred - please contact: [email protected]
