PlaceBook Scotland

The PlaceBook Scotland website has now been de-commissioned. While the project was live, anyone could share experiences and views about Scotland’s landscapes on a dedicated website.

More than 1,000 members posted photographs, short films, music, poetry and prose to capture a sense of those places that are special to them.

PlaceBook Scotland let people share with others the places that mean the most to them. Some posts highlight iconic landscapes, while others feature more everyday surroundings.

This community also enabled discussions about what makes a landscape distinct or special to the people experiencing it.

The website has now been de-commissioned but you can still connect with us through our Facebook page, where we’d be delighted to hear from you.
