Travelling to NatureScot’s Stirling Office

Travel by car or public transport from Stirling railway or bus stations to the office can be done via Park & Ride, Next Bike or on foot (see relevant sections below)

By Rail

Stirling has a mainline station which is well served by fast and frequent services to and from Scotland’s main cities and towns. Train times and fares can be accessed through Trainline or Scotrail Business Travel or Traveline Scotland. 

By Bus

There are regular bus services to Stirling, timetable details can be accessed from Traveline Scotland.

First Group operates a regular bus service between Stirling Bus Station (located beside Stirling Train Station) and Raploch Road (to the East of Castle Business Park) routes 57 and 59. Travel time is approximately 15 minutes.

Park & Ride

A regular and frequent Park and Ride service goes between Stirling city centre and Castle Business Park via the Castleview Circular route. This runs every 20 minutes from 0725. The last bus from the business park to the city centre is at 1735. Park and Ride bus stops, times and fares can be accessed through Stirling Council Park and Ride Scheme.

By Bicycle

Bicycle parking is available to the rear of our office where you can secure your bike.

Bike hire is available through Next Bike which has locations at both Stirling railway station and the Castle Business Park. This costs £1 each way. Please register the first time you use this facility.

Stirling Cycle Hub (located at the front of the Stirling railway station) can provide you with a mapped route to our office taking into account your level of cycling competency and fitness. A map of a recommended route can be found at CycleStreets website.

By Foot (approx 1 ½ miles)

From railway station turn right along Goosecroft Road onto Cowane Street. Turn right on to Wallace Street (passing Tesco on your right).  Follow the road ahead and take the underpass, bear left onto Laurencecroft Road (Stirling old bridge on your right) and continue on to Ramsay Place until it meets Drip Road. Cross over Drip Road (Sainsbury and MacDonalds will be on your left) and continue to your right.  When you reach the Raploch Campus building bear left over the pedestrian paved area into Weir Street and walk until the end.  When you reach Raploch Road cross over and turn left, then join ‘The Railway Path’ to your right.  Turn right to enter the business park.  Follow the road ahead at the roundabout, turn right and Strathallan House is on your left. By Car

SAT-NAV FK9 4TZ

• Leave M9 at junction 10, take exit to A84/Stirling
• From south
• At Craigforth roundabout, take 3rd exit to A84/Stirling
• At Kildean roundabout, take 1st exist left into Castle Business Park
• From north
• At Kildean roundabout, take 1st exist left into Castle Business Park

Once in the Castle Business Park

• Drive past The River House restaurant, take left at roundabout
• Strathallan House is the 1st building on your left

We have only a very limited number of visitor and disabled parking spaces and we cannot guarantee availability. Please check in advance with the person you are visiting to see if a space is available. Please only use the visitor spaces at Strathallan House and do not use spaces reserved for other neighbouring businesses.

As parking is limited, we recommend that you make use of the alternative parking available at the Stirling Council Castleview Park and Ride facility, located just off the roundabout outside the Castle Business Park, which is a 5-10 minute walk from the office.
