Seminar Presentation - Beavers in Devon – what happens next? - Mark Elliot
The River Otter Beaver Trial is now in its final year. At the end of the Trial in March 2020, Defra / Natural England are due to make a decision about the future of beavers on the River Otter and elsewhere in England.
Mark Elliot from the Devon Wildlife Trust outline the work being undertaken in Devon to date, including the development of a Beaver Management Strategy Framework for the River Otter that is proposed in the event that beavers are permitted to remain in the wild.
