Battleby Conference Centre

Battleby Conference Centre combines contemporary conference and meeting facilities with space to breathe.

A few minutes north of Perth, just off the A9, is Battleby Conference Centre, a unique setting for your next conference or business meeting. You can enjoy ample on-site parking, state-of-the-art conference facilities, quality catering and a professional service – enhanced by 37 acres of woodland, wildflower meadows and pathways, designed to be accessible for all.

Our modern facilities can cater for small meetings or large events, with spacious meeting rooms that can be adapted in layout to suit up to 160 delegates. Our experienced event coordinators will support and guide you to tailor your event to your specific requirements.

We can host meetings, events, presentations, training sessions, product launches and exhibitions. Battleby grounds are an example of good conservation practice and are ideal for team-building exercises, breakout space and walks. Using outdoor space can bring new perspectives to problems as well as help your delegates to restore their energy levels and feel better.

Our green credentials will support your organisation’s greening targets and corporate social responsibilities:

  • heating is provided by renewable energy
  • food waste is composted and recycling points have replaced desk bins
  • cycle parking is available for staff and event attendees
  • we hold a Green Tourism silver award

NatureScot is funded by the Scottish Government. The income we receive from venue hire lets us do more for Scotland’s nature and landscapes. All of our work supports our mission: All of nature for all of Scotland.

Battleby House history

Battleby House, located just outside Luncarty, was built in 1861 for the Graham family. It went on to be used as a hospital in the First World War before becoming a home to Sir Alexander Cross.

Battleby House came into public ownership in 1970 and was for a time the headquarters of the Countryside Commission for Scotland. Today, it is one of our main offices.

Signs of the past include the large windows, now part of Battleby Conference Centre, created from the arches of the old stables, and the stone stork settled above the old nursery window.
